On this week's show, we recap FC Cincinnati's 2-0 win over the New England Revolution. We also want to know what's been the key to FCC's success since Week 1's blowout loss?

HIGHLIGHTS FROM THIS WEEK’S SHOW.

On this week’s show, Bryan, Trisha and I recap FC Cincinnati’s 2-0 win over the New England Revolution LIVE from the mobileCincyShirts.com Studios. It was GREAT to be back live with you and recording this show in Cincinnati!

Listening to a lot of soccer media, FC Cincinnati beat the Revs, but the narrative seems to be that the Revs were just that poor rather than FC Cincinnati being impressive. Look, a win is a win in my book. But this team certainly looks and feels way different than the team we saw played off the park a month ago in Seattle. What’s different?

We ended the show discussing Bryan’s weekend experience with Flo FC. As expected, Tommy G, Kevin and Lindsay did a tremendous job on their first telecast this year.

On this week’s show, Boston, Bill and I recap the 3-0 thrashing of the Portland Timbers LIVE from CincyShirts.com Studios. It was GREAT to be back live with you, thank you for your patience the past couple of weeks.

How about that cheeky finish from Allan Cruz? Great to see him get on the scoresheet and open his MLS account. Bummer we’ll be missing him this weekend when he’s off with Costa Rica on the international break.

We opened up the Kings Hammer Hotline and had a chance to chat with superfans of FC Cincinnati. We wanted to hear your matchday experience as well as answer any of your FC Cincinnati questions heading into this international break not observed by MLS clubs.

On this week's show, we recap FC Cincinnati's late draw. We visit with ExtraTime's Andrew Wiebe. We also dive in on Flo TV and what a shocking decision this was.

No episode captain this week. If you’d like to wear the armband for an episode of Cincinnati Soccer Talk log onto CincinnatiSoccerTalk.com/support.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM THIS WEEK’S SHOW.

On this week’s show, Brad, Boston and I recap FC Cincinnati’s 1-1 draw with defending MLS Cup Champion Atlanta United.

If you’re a fan of soccer podcasts, ExtraTime is one of the BEST MLS podcasts around. Why? Because it’s produced by MLS. It’s also fantastic because it’s hosted by one of the best in the biz, Andrew Wiebe. Andrew joins us this week on the Kings Hammer Hotline to discuss his upcoming trip to the Queen City, his first time being in Cincy ever! He talked about not wanting to miss this fantastic moment in FC Cincinnati’s history.

Then, we dove in folks. For the first time in the history of CST – we let FC Cincinnati have it. Why? Flo TV was announced today as a streaming partner of FC Cincinnati, and the fans have let it be known today just how unhappy they are. We pulled no punches as well. Basically, Flo TV has made it difficult to help grow the fan base outside of Cincinnati in markets like Dayton and Lexington where it could cost those fans up to $150 to watch 14 or so matches on TV this year.

We ended the show with another edition of #CSTExtraTime! Thanks to our intern Jacob Clary for selecting some great tweets this week.

Highlights from this week’s show.

What a show we have in store for you this week. I had the absolute pleasure to sit down and chat one on one with FC Cincinnati legend, Andrew Wiedeman!

In this interview we caught up on what’s he’s doing these days now that he’s no longer playing.

What it’s been like living in Washington, D.C. and being able to see D.C. United’s revival first hand. He’s also played golf with an international soccer icon who arrived mid-summer.

We discussed the journey to Cincinnati and why he knew that after 2017 he would be done with soccer.

Andrew was the first player guest ever on the Cincinnati Soccer Talk podcast and we will always be a fan of what he does and forever grateful that he saves some time to chat with us. We’re thrilled to see him in his new role as an agent and look forward to big things for the first goalscorer in FC Cincinnati history!

However, he’s quickly grown to become a leading voice in American soccer not only as a writer but speaking as well. You can find Bobby all over MLS media. Whether it’s on YouTube or the ExtraTime Radio podcast, Bobby is fantastic and we were honored to have him as our final live guest of 2018. During the show, Brad mentioned Bobby’s book, which you should go read now! Here’s the link: Get on Amazon

We wrapped up the show with our Christmas Wish Lists for the 2019 season AND we debuted a new post-show segment called #CSTExtraTime!
