On this week's show, we're joined by FC Cincinnati General Manager Gerard Nijkamp to discuss the 2020 season and his plans for beyond.
This week we’re joined by Michael Lahoud, Ken Hoetker, Coach, Bryan, and Seubs to discuss the week that was for FC Cincinnati.
A lot of fans are frustrated, and rightfully so, this season for FC Cincinnati has gone as many had hoped, especially with the signings the club made in preparation for this season. We’re grateful for the opportunity to welcome back to the show FC Cincinnati GM Gerard Nijkamp. Gerard was kind enough to spend a full hour with us talking about why things haven’t worked, and what his plans are to make FC Cincinnati a contender in the future. Not many MLS GM’s are willing to take the time to do this so we hope this helps to answer your questions.
Finally, we wrap the show with some sad news. Daryl Grove is the co-host of The Total Soccer Show, one of the best soccer podcasts out there. A year ago, Daryl was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Unfortunately this week we received the bad news that he has entered into hospice care. Daryl, from all of us here at Cincinnati Soccer Talk we’re thinking about you, praying and hoping for the best for you and your family.
