FC Cincinnati struggles on the road yet again. The United States can’t win on the road in a match that guarantees them qualification into the World Cup. The parallels between these two teams are strikingly similar. We discuss on this week’s podcast. Get downloading!

Our episode captain this week is Harry! Harry, thank you so much for your generosity! If you’d like to wear the armband for an episode of Cincinnati Soccer Talk log onto CincinnatiSoccerTalk.com/support.

Highlights from this week’s show.

Boston, Yosief and I talk about the embarrassing loss over the weekend to the Ottawa Fury, a team that had NOTHING to play for other than play spoiler to FC Cincinnati’s postseason hopes. With the loss, FC Cincinnati may have to win this weekend in order to clinch a playoff spot. They’ll need some help on Thursday night by the Tampa Bay Rowdies when they hit the road against Orlando who is also fighting for a spot.

In our second segment, we talk about the confidence we have in this team to get a result on the road in Toronto this weekend. It could potentially be a must-win game for FC Cincinnati. It’s entirely possible that we’ll know FC Cincinnati’s playoff chances after Thursday night.

Lastly, we discuss how the USMNT missing the 2018 World Cup will affect soccer in the Tri-State. It’s crazy how similar FC Cincinnati and the US have fared this year. Both teams can’t win on the road in games that matter.

Plus we ended the show with our final Growler Cup predictions of the year!
